The Bertha Mae Williams Foundation needs you. Help us by volunteering your time or support our mission by connecting us to resources that will accomplish our wish list.

OUR WISH LIST

Check out how you can help us. If it's not you, please refer us to someone who can help with our wish list.

 

1. MEETING SPACE: Donate periodic meeting space around the New York area and Metro Atlanta to conduct “Safety Meetings”.

 

2. SAFETY MEETING: Establish neighborhood meetings for adolescents, discussion group on how to stay safe and how to respond to Police stops

 

3. GRANT WRITER/GRANT RESEARCHER:  Do you have a writing talent? Are your great at researching. We need you. Volunteer to be a grant writer or grant researcher.

 

4. ADMIN SUPPORT: We need a volunteer to help us as a part time Administrative Assistant.

 

5. SOCIAL MEDIA/BLOGGER: Use your Social Media skills and your blogging skills. Volunteer to help us get our message out to the community

 

6. FUND RAISER: Bertha Mae Williams Foundation is in search of professional fund raisers to help us access more resources and to generate funds to help victims in need of our services.

 

7. CAR DONATION: Donate your car to fund women and children rescue programs, and to teach victims to recognize signs of abuse and how to relocate to a safer environment.

 

8. DONATE PRINTING & DESIGN SERVICES: Donated service to design and print brochures, cards, fliers, etc. (Tax credits can be awarded for volunteer printing companies).

 

9. COMPUTERS/CELL PHONES: Computers and cell phones are needed for victims of domestic violence to help them with communications with counselors and staff of our agency.

 

10. DONATE ACCOUNTING & BOOKKEEPING: Donate your accounting and/or bookkeeping services.

 

11. SOCIAL WORKER: Social Workers / Case Managers needed to counsel victims.
